FishiLeaks Uncovers the Goods!
Wednesday, March 14th, 2012
In an exclusive, FishiLeaks can reveal the level of gratitude the Burrum Heads Easter Fishing
Classic has for their sponsors. One document in particular reads, “A BIG THANKS TO ALL
SPONSORS” and FishiLeaks has tracked down the ‘thanker’ who has confessed to having made the
thank you comments.
Eric Davey (age with held because I don’t it) was very candid about the extent the sponsors
get behind the Easter Classic:
Eric- “Got heaps of sponsors”
FishiLeaks- “So you are saying you have 120 sponsors from all over Australia who have been
involved for many years which allows you to give away over $45,000 in prizes”.
Eric- “Yep”!
FishiLeaks pushed Eric (he only fell a bit) as to why he felt the sponsors have been so dedicated over the years and in typical fashion he wrinkles up the left side of his face:
Eric- “We’re good”
FishiLeaks- “So you’re saying the dedication of the sponsors is because the Easter Fishing Classic has a strong reputation for providing a high quality family event consistantly for 21 years”.
Eric- “Yep”!
FishiLeaks was interested in how Eric manages to coordinate the generosity of sponsors each year and in his insightful manner said:
Eric- “I know stuff”
FishiLeaks- “So what you’re saying is you have developed and maintained strong relationships with sponsors and they know they are involved in a high quality event which attracts over 10,000 people in 3 days”
Eric- “Sure”
When asked about why he made the ‘THANK YOU’ comments Eric was exuberant in his reply:
Eric- “Because”
FishiLeaks- “So you’re saying the reason you made the thank you comments is due to the generosity of sponsors who help make the Easter Fishing Classic a memorable time for all the family”
Eric- “Sounds about right”
FishiLeaks can also reveal Eric and his wife Rosemary will not attend this years Easter Fishing Classic as they will be celebrating the wedding of their daughter Michelle to Brandon.
Congratulations you pair of youngins!

Some say he only comes out at night and is rarely seen in public.
The Burrum Heads Easter Fishing Classic has again teamed up with Fraser Island Iceboxes to bring you more fun than an esky full of monkeys on the Esky Wheel.
